Equal Rights Equal Oppurtunities

  Gender-based discrimination is irrevocably connected to negative health outcomes for women and girls. Its associated poor health outcomes are often compounded by other forms of inequality related to socioeconomic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or geographical location. While these challenges are imposing, and often encoded in "normalized" ways of living, International Women's Day renews our commitment to denounce violations in human rights and to challenge unequal systems, structures and practices that perpetuate health inequalities across the world.Gender equality is good for health.
  A government policy that requires equal treatment can pose problems for lawmakers. A requirement for government to provide equal health care services for all citizens can be prohibitively expensive. If government seeks equality of opportunity for citizens to get health care by rationing services using a maximization model to try to save money, new difficulties might emerge. For example, trying to ration health care by maximizing the "quality-adjusted years of life" might steer monies away from disabled persons even though they may be more deserving, according to one analysis. In another instance, BBC News questioned whether it was wise to ask female army recruits to undergo the same strenuous tests as their male counterparts, since many women were being injured as a result.

Essence of Christmas

  WE are in that special season of the year, a season of joy, of peace and of great tidings. It is a season of carols when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind. Jesus is the reason for the season.
  At Christmas, we are expected to spare time to contemplate things eternal. That is, we must remind ourselves that we are strangers here on earth; that our real home is in heaven, and that no matter how long we live, we shall surely die one day. So many people who started the year 2012 with us are not around to finish it. Like us, they commenced the New Year with high hopes and aspirations. Some may have planned to marry this year, buy a new car or move into a new apartment. But alas, all those are now lost. Thus, we should count ourselves lucky to be alive to see Christmas. This should, therefore, be a period of gratitude to God for sparing our lives and counting us among the living. It should equally be an opportunity for us to mend our ways before God so that we would not be found wanting.
  At this Christmas, we must pray for peace in our homes, in the country and in the world at large. We need peace like never before. Our family values have come under heavy attack in recent times, owing to the lack-lustre social economic situation in the land. Many fathers and husbands these days can hardly meet up with their responsibilities; otherwise happy homes are crumbling and children are becoming rebellious. The society also is not better off. There is unemployment and insecurity in the land. The air is filled with so much uncertainty.

CLIMATE CHANGE

   Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions.
    In humankind’s pursuit of well-being, we both influence and respond to climate. Emissions of greenhouse gases affect the heat balance of the Earth, and the resulting changes in precipitation patterns, temperature extremes and rising sea levels affect how society develops.
     In this generation you can not predict what would happen today,tomorrow or even anytime, because we do not know what could be the next thing that God will do. BE prepared anytime that's all!!!

     

MY REFLECTION

        My learning in the 2^nd Grading Period are: I learn how to apply the HTML tags. I learn also how does the worldwide web. I learn who is making the web standards. And I learn also what is tag is tag attributes and its examples. I learn also what is mark-up tags , basic html, most essential web standards, html files and others .

          The problems that I have encountered are when the internet has not connected. It has low power so I can’t work on my blog. Also when our teacher did not meet us but we have our scheduled class.

          I can address these challenges by trying and trying. Because there is not bad in trying

          Moving on, I will study hard so that I will know better in the next grading.

“SCIENTRICITY: ENERGIZING SCIENCE CLUBBERS FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY”

        Energy is important to our everyday life. It means that if there is no energy we cannot live in this world. So we must consume energy wisely to protect our environment. Example of energy is the food we eat every day. And also when we help our mother cleaning the house we our consuming energy.

       As a science clubber I can help the attainment of sustainable energy by not wasting it. Because it is really important to us and it gave us strength to work everyday and it makes my health wealthy and healthy so that I can live healthy and strong .

       So for the attainment of sustainable energy we must use the energy wisely in order to make our world beautiful and bountiful.

My Teacher My Hero

Flowers,cakes,letters,poems,and fruits. These are the gift of some students for their teachers during the Teacher,s Celebration Day. But this gift are not enough to thank them.
Our teachers are just like our second mother/father. They always guide and protect us. Our teachers are kind because even though they have an illness they always teach us. Whenever they are not feeling well in doing their lesson plan or projects of their students they always smile.They are not showing that they have a problem. If you ask an advice from them they have still have time to help. Instead they are resting in their faculty room they are sacrificing for us.
So in the world teachers day, I am proud of our teachers for doing their good work. Our teacher are always think of our goodness. Ma'am...Sir...Mabuhay kayo....You are my superhero...We love you and Happy Teachers day.

MODERN HERO

                         HERO…..is the one that I idolized. They are the one who work hard for their family. For you who is your hero??

                          My parents are my hero but aside from them there are some workers that idolized like nurses, call center agent, construction workers, janitor, vendors and others. They are the one that I idolized. I am proud of them because they are the provider of their family. They provide their needs for them. They woke up early in the morning just to work. Even though they have illness they try their best to go to work. Even the weather is rain or shine they always go to work. And they have so many sacrifices that they gain.

                         Every now and then they are my 2^nd hero. They are the model for me. And they are my inspiration.

Tatag ng Wikang Filipino,Lakas ng Pagka-pilipino

               Filipino....Filipino....language was first used by Manuel L.Quezon.And now, it is usually used by many people.It is use for communicating for us to understand each other.
               In November13,1937,Filipino language was declared in National Assembly.And our Filipino language was chosen as a base of a new National language.They use our language by many people and it is the way to understand in all the region in the Philippines.In 1973 it was declared as new national language and it was called as Filipino. Filipino language was used for communicating.
               By means of this language they will deliver our thoughts and desires. and it is our companion to help and communicate with other people not only in the Philippines but also in other country.

I learn every challenges

               My learnings are I learn who are the pioneers of the internet,architects of the internet,and the software pioneers.I learn also where the internet came from.And on what year was the internet published and used.And I also learn how to make a blog.

               The problems that I have encountered are when the internet has less connected.Because I cant work for my blog.And I am not good in typing/encoding.

                I can address this challenges by trying and trying.Because there is no bad in trying.

                Moving on,..I will learn more and study hard so that I will know better next time.

SONA

                The 3rd Sona of the president was on July 23,2012 at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.The content of his Sona was about Education,Tourism and others.
                My reaction in his 3rd Sona is nice and good.Because he focus more on Education and Tourism.Education is very important to the students.He mentioned that every one student have a book.And those student who do not have classrooms will be having a classroom.And in the tourism,he mentioned that he will build more airports.So that many tourism will come to our country.
                I hope that all of his suggestion will work. 

"Pagkain ng Gulay ugaliin,araw-araw itong ihain"

Eating vegetable is very important because it gives us vitamin in our body.It gives resistance.and gives strength in body.If we eat vegetable it can protects us from any sickness.It makes our body healthy and comfortable.And vegetable gives us energy to make our work faster and easier.Vegetable is important to our everyday life.Lets make it as a habit to make our body stronger.  

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,
           First and foremost I would like to congratulate you for winning in the election 2010.

           Before the ELECTION you have many promises.One of your promises is to become our country progress and discipline.Those promises are not yet done because many people today are messy.Mr. President,where are those promises??Those promises are very important especially to us,as a student.But I also thankful for your sacrifices in our country.Thank you for helping our country Progress.By the way,I am Marifel Ragunjan from Ilocos Sur National High School Student.
            Hoping that you can do all this things for our country.More grace that come to you.
